ObjectiveTo investigate the impact of integrated Chinese medicine and western medicine on lung function in patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods80 patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease were randomly divided into two groups. The western medicine group wert given oxygen, expectorant,anti-inflammatory, and intravenous ambroxol doxofylline cough and phlegm and asthma treatment, while the integrated group were treated with Chinese medicine based on western medicine. The traditional Chinese medicine were: Angelica 50 g, Fritillaria 50 g, Salvia 100 g, Lily 100 g, Placenta 100 g, Dodder seed 100 g and dogwood dodder meat 100 g, ginseng 150 g, thirty-seven 150 g, Astragalus 200 g, two pairs of Gecko, all the drugs were fine, and the dosage is 15 g for two times one day. The course of treatment was 1 month. ResultsThe total effective rate of integrated group and western medicine group was 92.5% and 75.0%, respectively, which showed significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05). After treatment, FEV1、FVC、FEV1/ FVC in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and all indexes in the integrated group were higher than those in the western medicine group(P<0.05). ConclusionIntegrated Chinese medicine and western medicine can increase therapeutic effect and improve lung function in patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, which is worthy applying and recommending.
