ObjectiveTo explore the efficacy and adverse reactions of methotrexate combined with tripterygium glycosides tablet on rheumatoid arthritis. MethodsA total of 130 patients with rheumatoid arthritis admitted in our hospital from January 2016 to June 2018 were selected as the study objects, and divided into methotrexate group (63 cases) and combined treatment group (67 cases) according to the patient′s will of treatment. The methotrexate group was treated with methotrexate, whereas the combined treatment group was treated with methotrexate combined with tripterygium glycosides tablet. The clinical efficacy, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), C-reactive protein (CRP) levels and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. ResultsAfter 3 courses of treatment, the pain level, the number of joint tenderness, the number of joint swelling, and the morning stiffness time were significantly decreased (reduced), and the ESR and CRP levels were significantly decreased. The above mentioned indicators of the combined treatment group were significantly better than the methotrexate group, with statistically significant difference (P＜0.05). During treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence rate of adverse reactions in the two groups (P＞0.05). ConclusionMethotrexate combined with tripterygium glycosides tablet in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis patients revealed a prominent clinical effect, which can effectively improve the clinical symptoms, and reduce the level of inflammatory response. It has high safety of treatment, which is worthy of promotion and application.
