Effects of reasonable weight loss on liver fat content and life quality in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease patients with elevated transaminase treating with diammonium glycyrrhizinate enteric-coated capsule
ObjectiveTo explore weight loss on liver fat content and life quality in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) patients with elevated transaminase in the treatment of diammonium glycyrrhizinate enteric-coated capsule. MethodsA total of 100 NAFLD patients with elevated transaminase, who were treated with diammonium glycyrrhizinate enteric-coated capsule, admitted in the First People′s Hospital of Qinzhou from March 2015 to December 2017 were selected as the study objects, and randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 50 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were treated with diammonium glycyrrhizinate enteric-coated capsule, whereas patients in the observation group were treated with diammonium glycyrrhizinate enteric-coated capsule and reasonable weight loss intervention. The BMI, abdominal circumference, waist-to-hip ratio, liver fat content, and life quality before and after intervention were compared between the two groups. ResultsAfter 6 months of intervention, the BMI, abdominal circumference, and waist-to-hip ratio in the two groups were significantly decreased. The BMI, abdominal circumference, and waist-to-hip ratio in the observation group were significantly less than those of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Compared to the control group, the observation group had a lower liver fat content, whereas higher life quality scores in various fields and total scores of life quality, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). ConclusionA personalized diet and exercise scheme should be formulated and implemented on NAFLD patients with repeatedly elevated transaminase treating with diammonium glycyrrhizinate enteric-coated capsule, so as to lose the weight of patients reasonably, which can significantly reduce liver fat content and improve patients′ life quality.
