ObjectiveTo investigate the efficacy of Ginkgo biloba extract in treating Parkinson’s disease (PD) and its effects on levels of TNF-α,IL-6,IL-1β. MethodsA total of 60 cases of PD patients of our hospital were selected as research objects and randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 30 cases in each group.Patients in control group were treated with madopar, while patients in experimental group were added with Ginkgo biloba extract on the basis of treatment of control group.Compared with clinical efficacy between two groups, and the levels of TNF-α,IL-6,IL-1β and the scores of Unified Parkinson′s Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS I, II, III) before and after treatment. ResultsAfter 15 days treatment, efficiency of treatment in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The levels of TNF-α,IL-6,IL-1β were decreased in both groups, and those in the experimental group were lower than control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05).The scores of UPDRS I,II,III in two groups were decreased after treatment, and those in experimental group were lower than control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). ConclusionGinkgo biloba extract proves obvious effects of reducing levels of TNF-α,IL-6,IL-1β in patients with PD,which is helpful to improve the clinical efficacy.
